The Intertribal Agriculture Council conducts a wide range of programs designed to further the goal of improving Indian Agriculture. The IAC promotes the Indian use of Indian resources and contracts with federal agencies to maximize resources for tribal members.

For over 30 years the Intertribal Agriculture Council has worked to build opportunity for Indian producers with an eye towards true sovereignty and self-sufficiency in Indian Country by rebuilding our ability to feed ourselves. An organization-wide effort to capitalize on a capacity- building opportunity resulted in funding from the Native American Agriculture Fast Track Fund. A significant portion of this funding has been devoted to staffing.
In order to enhance the productivity of the organization, we are conducting a nationwide search for highly skilled and qualified individuals to fill the following postion:
The Development Director whose role will be to match the initiatives, staff, and other resources of the organization with funding opportunities on a broader scale than ever before. Government, corporate, and philanthropic funding sources exist for many of our efforts and this position will help facilitate and fund partnerships to further improve our ability to promote economic development through sustainable agriculture.
