The Intertribal Agriculture Council conducts a wide range of programs designed to further the goal of improving Indian Agriculture. The IAC promotes the Indian use of Indian resources and contracts with federal agencies to maximize resources for tribal members.

The Intertribal Agriculture Council will host the 2017 Membership Meeting at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, December 11-14, 2017 .
“Indian Ag…….the Future of American Food Security”
IAC’s 2017 Membership Meeting will focus on Indian Country’s role in the future of American food security and to rally the support of Tribes to effectively advocate for greater Native inclusion in the 2018 Farm Bill. It will be one of the largest non-defense funding authorizations to be considered in the history of this country. Join us to make sure your voice is heard!

Membership dues for the coming year are due prior to the Annual Membership Meeting, regional caucuses and elections at the annual meeting. In order to vote on caucus issues and elections, a member Tribe must have their dues paid and a delegate in place at the Membership Meeting. Membership Dues

Youth Essay Contest Now Open!
The next generation of Indian Agriculture will be at the forefront of meeting America’s demand for food security. Our young leaders have been filling crucial roles at home, producing the food that feeds our communities. Now, Indian Country relies on our youth to carry our message farther than ever before. Insuring a Native voice is heard in the 2018 Farm Bill is a critical concern for the Intertribal Agriculture Council, and we need your help in doing so.
